MetLife Announces First Quarter 2022 Results
May 4, 2022 4:15 PM EDTNEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MetLife, Inc. (NYSE: MET) today announced its first quarter 2022 results.
First Quarter Results Summary
Net income of $606 million, or $0.73 per share, compared to net income of $290 million, or $0.33 per share, in the first quarter of 2021. Adjusted earnings of $1.7 billion, or $2.08 per share, compared to adjusted earnings of $2.0 billion, or $2.20 per share, in the first quarter of 2021.
