Mr. Cooper Group (COOP) And Sagent to Create Cloud-Native Servicing Platform for Mortgage Industry
February 11, 2022 7:02 AM ESTMr. Cooper Group Inc. (NASDAQ: COOP) and Sagent M&C, LLC (Sagent) announced today the execution of a definitive agreement under which Sagent will buy certain intellectual property rights related to Mr. Coopers proprietary, cloud-based technology platform for mortgage servicing, and Mr. Cooper will receive an equity stake in Sagent. This agreement will leverage Mr. Coopers mortgage servicing depth and Sagents software innovation speed to create the industrys first cloud-native, homeowner-first servicing platform. Mr. Cooper will also become a multi-year customer of Sagent.
