Electronic Arts (EA) Shares Fall on Weak Outlook, Analyst Sees Results as Expected
February 2, 2022 6:51 AM ESTShares of Electronic Arts (NYSE: EA) are down over 2% in pre-open Wednesday after the video game companys forecast for 2022 fell short of analyst consensus.
EA reported a fiscal Q3 net income of $66 million, or 23 cents per share, down from $211 million, or 72 cents per share, a year earlier.
Revenue came in at $1.79 billion, up from $1.67 billion a year earlier. The company generated $7.25 billion from booking over the past 12 months, while net booking for the quarter hit $2.58 billion, up from $2.4 billion in the year-ago quarter.
