Nucor Reports Record Quarterly and Annual Earnings for the Fourth Quarter and Year Ended 2021
January 27, 2022 8:00 AM ESTCHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 27, 2022 /PRNewswire/ --Â Nucor Corporation (NYSE: NUE) today announced consolidated net earnings of $2.25 billion, or $7.97 per diluted share, for the fourth quarter of 2021. By comparison, Nucor reported consolidated net earnings of $2.13 billion, or $7.28 per diluted share, for the third quarter of 2021 and $398.8 million, or $1.30 per diluted share, for the fourth quarter of 2020.
For the full year 2021, Nucor reported consolidated net earnings of $6.83 billion, or $23.16 per diluted share, compared with consolidated net earnings of $721.5 million, or $2.36 per diluted share, in 2020.
