United Rentals Announces Record Fourth Quarter Results, Introduces 2022 Outlook and Announces New $1 Billion Share Repurchase Program
January 26, 2022 4:15 PM ESTSTAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- United Rentals, Inc. (NYSE: URI) today announced financial results for the fourth quarter 2021 and reported its full year results on Form 10-K1. The company also announced a new $1 billion share repurchase program.
Fourth Quarter 2021 Highlights
Total revenue of $2.776 billion, including rental revenue2 of $2.312 billion. Fleet productivity3 increased 10.3% year-over-year. Net income of $481 million, at a margin4 of 17.3%.
