Western Digital (WDC) Stock Plunges on Weak Guidance Driven by Supply Chain Issues and COVID-related Costs, Seen as a 'Messy' Quarter All Around
October 29, 2021 6:49 AM EDTShares of Western Digital (NASDAQ: WDC) are down over 11% in pre-open Friday after the company reported its FQ1 results and guidance.
Western Digital reported FQ1 EPS of $2.49 to easily beat the analyst estimate of $2.11. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.1 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.36 billion.
