Shares of Zendesk (NYSE: ZEN) are down nearly 20% in pre-open Friday as Street research firms shared mostly negative comments on the companys proposed acquisition of Momentiv (NASDAQ: MNTV).
Zendesk announced yesterday that Momentive shareholders will receive 0.225 shares of Zendesk stock for each share they own. This implies a roughly $28.00 per share price for rach MNTV stock, compared to yesterday's closing price of $24.92.
