Novavax (NVAX) Misses Q2 EPS by $1.12
August 5, 2021 4:31 PM EDTNovavax (NASDAQ: NVAX) reported Q2 EPS of ($4.75), $1.12 worse than the analyst estimate of ($3.63). Revenue for the quarter came in at $298 million versus the consensus estimate of $387.87 million.

(Nasdaq: NVAX), a biotechnology company developing next-generation vaccines for serious infectious diseases, today announced that it has reached an agreement with the European Commission (EC) for the purchase of up to 200 million doses of NVX-CoV2373, the company's recombinant nanoparticle protein-based COVID-19 vaccine candidate with Matrix-M adjuvant. The agreement covers the purchase of up to 100 million doses of the vaccine with the option for an additional 100 million doses through 2023.
