Delta Air Lines (DAL) Upgraded at Jefferies to 'Buy', Seen as the Best Positioned for Next Stage of the Recovery
June 8, 2021 9:12 AM EDTJefferies analyst Sheila Kahyaoglu upgraded Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) to Buy from Hold ahead of the next phase of the recovery.
As the latest data shows a strong recovery in domestic leisure travel volumes, the focus now shifts to a recovery in business and international demand. Data from Jefferies shows the US domestic leisure passenger has powered the initial recovery while internet interest across US airlines is up on average 12% from a normalized level, compared to Europe and Asia remaining down 38% and 56%, respectively.
