May 27, 2021 10:20 AM EDTShares of Medtronic (NYSE: MDT) are up 0.5% in todays trading session after the company reported better-than-expected earnings for its fourth quarter.
The company reported adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.50 per share on $8.19 billion in sales, which compares to EPS of $1.42 a share on $7.86 billion in sales expected from the surveyed market analysts.

Medtronic (NYSE: MDT) reported Q4 EPS of $1.50, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $1.42. Revenue for the quarter came in at $8.2 billion versus the consensus estimate of $8.14 billion.
GUIDANCE:
Medtronic sees 2022 EPS of $5.60-$5.75, versus the consensus of $5.72.
