Overseas Shipholding Group (OSG) Reports Q1 Loss of $0.18
May 7, 2021 7:34 AM EDTOverseas Shipholding Group (NYSE: OSG) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.18), versus $0.28 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $81.27 million, versus $100.86 million reported last year.
Net loss for the first quarter 2021 was $15.9 million, or $(0.18) per diluted share, compared with net income of $25.1 million, or $0.28 per diluted share, for the first quarter 2020. The first quarter of 2020 included a $19.2 million gain related to the acquisition of the Alaska Tanker Company.In April, we entered into a contract to sell the Overseas Gulf Coast for $32.5 million.
