BD Announces Second Fiscal Quarter Results; Reaffirms Fiscal 2021 Guidance
May 6, 2021 6:00 AM EDTFRANKLIN LAKES, N.J., May 6, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) (NYSE: BDX), a leading global medical technology company, today reported quarterly revenues of $4.9 billion for the second fiscal quarter ended March 31, 2021. This represents an increase of 15.4% over the prior-year period on a reported basis and was driven by the contribution of BD's COVID-19 diagnostic revenues, which totaled $480 million, as well as solid core business growth.
