May 4, 2021 4:18 PM EDTNet income attributable to Prudential Financial, Inc. of $2.828 billion or $6.98 per Common share versus net loss of $271 million or $0.70 per share for the year-ago quarter. Record high after-tax adjusted operating income of $1.665 billion or $4.11 per Common share versus $897 million or $2.22 per share for the year-ago quarter. Book value per Common share of $145.05 versus $152.45 per share for the year-ago; adjusted book value per Common share of $100.49 versus $99.71 per share for the year-ago.
