Vulcan Reports Third Quarter Results
November 5, 2020 7:30 AM ESTBIRMINGHAM, Ala., Nov. 5, 2020 /PRNewswire/ --Â Vulcan Materials Company (NYSE: VMC), the nation's largest producer of construction aggregates, today announced results for the quarter ended September 30, 2020.
Net earnings were $200 million compared to $216 million in the prior year's comparable quarter. Third quarter Adjusted EBITDA was $403 million versus $407 million in the prior year. Adjusted EBITDA margins expanded by 210 basis points despite an 8 percent decline in total revenues. This margin expansion was driven by effective cost control throughout the organization and price growth in each major product line.Â
