Kemper Reports Strong Third Quarter 2020 Operating Results
November 2, 2020 4:05 PM ESTCHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Kemper Corporation (NYSE: KMPR) reported net income of $122.3 million, or $1.83 per diluted share, for the third quarter of 2020, compared to $129.0 million, or $1.91 per diluted share, for the third quarter of 2019. In the third quarter of 2020, net income included a $35.7 million after-tax gain, or $0.53 per diluted share, attributable to the change in fair value of equity and convertible securities.
