Southern Company reports third-quarter 2020 earnings
October 29, 2020 6:15 AM EDTATLANTA, Oct. 29, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Southern Company today reported third-quarter 2020 earnings of $1.25 billion, or $1.18 per share, compared with $1.32 billion, or $1.26 per share, in the third quarter of 2019. For the nine months ended September 30, 2020, Southern Company reported earnings of $2.73 billion, or $2.58 per share, compared with earnings of $4.30 billion, or $4.12 per share, for the same period in 2019.Â
