Axis Capital Reports Third Quarter 2020 Results

For the third quarter of 2020, the Company reports:

Improvement of 5.2 points in current accident year combined ratio, excluding catastrophe and weather-related losses, compared to the same period in the prior year Estimated pre-tax catastrophe and weather-related losses, net of reinsurance and reinstatement premiums, of $240 million, or 22.2 points No change to net loss estimate associated with first party coverages established for the COVID-19 pandemic in first quarter of 2020 Book value per diluted common share of $54.75, a decrease of ($0.34), or (0.6%), compared to June 30, 2020
