Arch Resources Reports Third Quarter 2020 Results
October 22, 2020 6:30 AM EDTST. LOUIS, Oct. 22, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Arch Resources, Inc. (NYSE: ARCH) today reported a net loss of $191.5 million, or $12.64 per diluted share, in the third quarter of 2020, compared with net income of $106.8 million, or $6.34 per diluted share, in the prior-year period. Arch's third quarter results included a non-cash impairment of $163.1 million associated with the write-down of assets at several of its legacy thermal operations. Arch had adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, depletion, amortization, accretion on asset retirement obligations, and non-operating expenses ("adjusted EBITDA") 1 of $17.4 million in the third quarter of 2020, which includes...
