Timken Reports Second-Quarter 2020 Results
August 3, 2020 6:51 AM EDTNORTH CANTON, Ohio, Aug. 3, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- The Timken Company (NYSE: TKR; www.timken.com), a world leader in engineered bearings and power transmission products, today reported second-quarter 2020 sales of $803.5 million, down 19.7 percent from the same period a year ago. The decline was driven by lower demand attributable to the broad economic slowdown caused by COVID-19, and unfavorable currency, partially offset by the favorable impact of acquisitions.
