Apple delivers blowout earnings amid COVID-19, market shrugs off iPhone delays

(Reuters) - Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL) on Thursday delivered blowout quarterly results, reporting revenue gains across every category and in every geography as consumers working and learning from home during the COVID-19 pandemic turned to its products and services.
The report topped Wall Street expectations, with even long-overshadowed categories like iPads and Macs getting a boost. Shares rose as much as 6% in extended trading after the results.

July 30, 2020 4:30 PM EDTApple (NASDAQ: AAPL) reported Q3 EPS of $2.58, $0.54 better than the analyst estimate of $2.04. Revenue for the quarter came in at $59.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $52.25 billion.
