Berkshire Hills Announces Second Quarter Results
July 29, 2020 4:15 PM EDTBOSTON, July 29, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Berkshire Hills Bancorp, Inc. (NYSE: BHLB) today reported a second quarter loss due to non-cash charges related to goodwill impairment and the provision for credit losses, both stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.  These charges had no material impact on cash flow, liquidity, or regulatory capital. Berkshire generated positive cash earnings before these charges and the Bank continued to strengthen its regulatory capital ratios and liquidity while growing its loans and deposits.Â
