July 29, 2020 6:30 AM EDTHOUSTON, July 29, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Prosperity Bancshares, Inc.® (NYSE: PB), the parent company of Prosperity Bank® (collectively, "Prosperity"), reported net income for the quarter ended June 30, 2020 of  $130.9 million compared with $82.3 million for the same period in 2019. Net income per diluted common share was $1.41 compared with $1.18 for the same period in 2019.  The second quarter of 2020 includes a tax benefit for net operating losses ("NOLs") of $20.1 million, or $0.22(1) per diluted common share, as a result of the enactment of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act ("CARES Act").
