The Board of Directors of The Greenbrier Companies, Inc. (NYSE: GBX) announced today that Chairman and CEO Bill Furman has agreed to continue in his current position for up to two more years, retiring in 2022. As part of the company's ongoing succession planning process, Furman will retire from all executive offices in September 2022.
