Altimmune Announces Dosing of First Patient in Phase 1b Clinical Trial of NasoShield™, a Single Dose Intranasal Anthrax Vaccine Candidate
June 30, 2020 7:00 AM EDTGAITHERSBURG, Md., June 30, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Altimmune, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALT), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, today announced dosing of the first patient in the Companys Phase 1b clinical trial of NasoShield, a single dose intranasal anthrax vaccine candidate. The NasoShield program is being developed under a contract with the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), with a total potential value of $133.7 million if all options in the contract (HHSO100201600008C) are exercised.
