Home Depot (HD) Misses Q1 EPS by 18c, Revenues Beat; Suspending FY20 Guidance, 'Sales Were Strong at End of 1Q'
May 19, 2020 6:04 AM EDTHome Depot (NYSE: HD) reported Q1 EPS of $2.08, $0.18 worse than the analyst estimate of $2.26. Revenue for the quarter came in at $28.26 billion versus the consensus estimate of $27.28 billion.
Comparable sales for the first quarter of fiscal 2020 were positive 6.4 percent, and comparable sales in the U.S. were positive 7.5 percent.
