Canadian Natural Resources (CNQ) Misses Q1 EPS by 74c
May 7, 2020 5:54 AM EDTCanadian Natural Resources (NYSE: CNQ) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.25), $0.74 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.49.
Tim McKay, President of Canadian Natural stated, "Through the first quarter of 2020 and in response to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus ("COVID-19"), we have taken proactive and effective steps to ensure the safety and health of our employees, service providers and the communities we work in, while maintaining safe, reliable operations. We currently have approximately 6,000 employees working remotely and approximately 4,000 field personnel working under safety protocols with minimal impact to our operations.
