Acme United Reports 14% Sales Increase and 50% EPS Increase for First Quarter of 2020
April 17, 2020 9:00 AM EDTFAIRFIELD, Conn., April 17, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Acme United Corporation (NYSE American: ACU) today announced that net sales for the quarter ended March 31, 2020 were $35.8 million compared to $31.4 million in the first quarter of 2019, an increase of 14%.
Acme Uniteds first quarter 2020 revenues included approximately $1.0 million from the sales of First Aid Central products. The Company acquired the assets of Canadian-based First Aid Central, Inc. on January 7, 2020.
