NextEra Energy board declares quarterly dividend and continues above-average targeted growth rate in dividends per share through at least 2022
February 14, 2020 1:52 PM ESTJUNO BEACH, Fla., Feb. 14, 2020 /PRNewswire/ --Â The board of directors of NextEra Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NEE) today declared a regular quarterly common stock dividend of $1.40Â per share, up 12% versus the prior-year comparable quarterly dividend. This increase is consistent with the plan announced in 2018 of targeting 12% to 14% annual growth in dividends per share through at least 2020, off a 2017 base. The dividend is payable on March 16, 2020, to shareholders of record on Feb. 28, 2020.
