Bushfires likely singed Aussie profit, coronavirus uncertainty looms

SYDNEY (Reuters) - Damage from months-long bushfires will dominate Australian corporate earnings results this month as companies give their first profit updates since the start of the summer and as a coronavirus outbreak in China adds uncertainty to forecasts.

Insurers such as Suncorp Group Ltd (NYSE: SUN) and Insurance Australia Group Ltd (NYSE: IAG) that are paying out claims related to the country's worst bushfires in a generation will be hardest hit, fund managers and analysts said.

Carlisle Cos. (CSL) Declares $0.50 Quarterly Dividend; 1.2% Yield

Carlisle Cos. (NYSE: CSL) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.50 per share, or $2 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on March 2, 2020, to stockholders of record on February 20, 2020, with an ex-dividend date of February 19, 2020.

The annual yield on the dividend is 1.2 percent.
