Universal Corporation Reports Nine Month Results
February 4, 2020 4:16 PM ESTRICHMOND, Va., Feb. 4, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- George C. Freeman, III, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Universal Corporation (NYSE: UVV), reported net income for the nine months ended December 31, 2019, of $56.1 million, or $2.23 per diluted share, compared with $72.8 million, or $2.87 per diluted share, for the same period of the prior fiscal year.
