Huntington Bancshares Incorporated Reports Record Annual Earnings
January 23, 2020 7:30 AM ESTCOLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 23, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Huntington Bancshares Incorporated (Nasdaq: HBAN; www.huntington.com) reported 2019 full year net income of $1.4 billion, an increase of 1% from the prior year. Earnings per common share for the year were $1.27, up 6% from the prior year. Tangible book value per common share as of 2019 year-end was $8.25, a 12% year-over-year increase. Return on average assets for 2019 was 1.31%, return on average common equity was 12.9%, and return on average tangible common equity was 16.9%.
