Universal Corporation Reports Six Month Results
November 12, 2019 6:30 AM ESTRICHMOND, Va., Nov. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- George C. Freeman, III, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Universal Corporation (NYSE: UVV), reported net income for the first half of fiscal year 2020, which ended on September 30, 2019, of $30.1 million, or $1.19 per diluted share, compared with $44.6 million, or $1.76 per diluted share, for the same period of the prior fiscal year.
