Ecolab (ECL) Reports In-Line Q3 EPS, Revenues Miss; Narrows FY19 EPS Guidance Below Consensus

Ecolab (NYSE: ECL) reported Q3 EPS of $1.71, in-line with the analyst estimate of $1.71. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.82 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.89 billion.

THIRD QUARTER HIGHLIGHTS:

Reported diluted EPS $1.59, +7%.Adjusted diluted EPS $1.71, +12%, excluding special gains and charges and discrete tax items. Currency translation was an unfavorable $0.03 per share.Reported sales +2%.
