Everest Re (RE) Reports Q3 Revenues Above Estimates
October 28, 2019 4:22 PM EDTEverest Re (NYSE: RE) reported Q3 EPS of $3.39, $1.18 better than the analyst estimate of $2.21. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.42 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.92 billion.
Operating highlights for the third quarter of 2019 included the following:
Gross written premiums for the quarter were $2.4 billion, an increase of 9% compared to the third quarter of 2018. Direct insurance premiums were up 29%, from third quarter 2018, to $666.6 million, continuing with the diversified growth trends noted in recent years. Worldwide reinsurance... More
