McCormick & Co. (MKC) Tops Q3 EPS by 17c; Raises FY19 EPS Guidance Above Consensus
October 1, 2019 6:34 AM EDTMcCormick & Co. (NYSE: MKC) reported Q3 EPS of $1.46, $0.17 better than the analyst estimate of $1.29. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.33 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.34 billion.
Earnings per share was $1.43 in the third quarter as compared to $1.30 in the year-ago period. Adjusted earnings per share rose 14% to $1.46 from $1.28 in the year-ago period.Operating income was $254 million in the third quarter compared to $230 million in the year-ago period.
