Fiesta Restaurant (FRGI) Misses Q2 EPS by 2c
August 7, 2019 4:45 PM EDTFiesta Restaurant (NASDAQ: FRGI) reported Q2 EPS of $0.21, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.23. Revenue for the quarter came in at $171.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $172.73 million.
Fiesta President and Chief Executive Officer Richard Stockinger said, Comparable restaurant sales for the second quarter mirrored the decline of the benchmark index in our Florida and Texas markets. Comparable restaurant transactions, however, exceeded the benchmark index in Florida due in part to the popularity of our everyday value platform 'Pollo Time'.
