UCFC Announces Record Earnings for the Second Quarter and a Dividend Increase of 14%
July 23, 2019 4:15 PM EDTYOUNGSTOWN, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- United Community Financial Corp. (Company) (NASDAQ: UCFC), parent company of Home Savings Bank (Home Savings), announced today second quarter net income of $10.5 million, an increase of 9.9% compared to the second quarter of 2018. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) totaled $0.215, a 13.2% improvement over the $0.190 per share reported for the quarter ended June 30, 2018.
