(Nasdaq - ASNA) (ascena or the Company) today reported financial results for its fiscal third quarter ended May 4, 2019. For the third quarter of Fiscal 2019, the Company reported a GAAP loss of $1.20 per diluted share, compared to a GAAP loss of $0.20 in the year-ago period. The current year loss reflects non-cash impairment charges of $174 million, consisting of write-downs of goodwill, other intangible assets and store-related fixed assets.
