Chesapeake Utilities Corporation Reports First Quarter 2019 Results
May 8, 2019 6:30 AM EDTDOVER, Del., May 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Chesapeake Utilities Corporation (NYSE: CPK) ("Chesapeake Utilities" or the "Company") today announced first quarter financial results. The Company's net income for the quarter ended March 31, 2019 was $28.7 million, compared to $26.9 million for the same quarter of 2018. Earnings per share ("EPS") for the quarter ended March 31, 2019 were $1.74, compared to $1.64 per share for the same quarter of 2018.
The higher earnings reflected the positive impact of recently completed and ongoing pipeline expansion projects, accretion from the Marlin Gas Transport, Inc. ("Marlin Gas Transport") and R. F. Ohl Fuel Oil, Inc.... More
