Dawson Geophysical (DWSN) Tops Q1 EPS by 24c, Revenues Beat
May 1, 2019 6:23 AM EDTDawson Geophysical (NASDAQ: DWSN) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.01), $0.24 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.25). Revenue for the quarter came in at $51.16 million versus the consensus estimate of $38.05 million.
Stephen C. Jumper, President and Chief Executive Officer, said, "First quarter results were primarily a result of increased utilization of active recording channels in the U.S. and a better than anticipated late winter season in Canada.
