Prosperity Bancshares, Inc.® Reports First Quarter 2019 Earnings
April 24, 2019 6:30 AM EDTHOUSTON, April 24, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Prosperity Bancshares, Inc.® (NYSE: PB), the parent company of Prosperity Bank® (collectively, "Prosperity"), reported net income for the quarter ended March 31, 2019 of $82.402 million, an increase of $8.041 million or 10.8% compared with $74.361 million for the same period in 2018. Net income per diluted common share increased 10.3% to $1.18 compared with $1.07 for the same period in 2018. Net income and earnings per diluted common share for the three months ended March 31, 2018 were impacted by net charge-offs of $9.441 million.
