BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Regions Financial Corporation (NYSE: RF) today announced earnings for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. The company reported net income from continuing operations available to common shareholders of $378 million and earnings per diluted share from continuing operations of $0.37. Total revenue grew 2 percent year-over-year while pre-tax pre-provision income(1) increased 11 percent over the same period.
