BancorpSouth Announces First Quarter 2019 Financial Results
April 17, 2019 4:31 PM EDTTUPELO, Miss., April 17, 2019 /PRNewswire/ --Â BancorpSouth Bank (NYSE: BXS) (the "Company") today announced financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2019.
Highlights for the first quarter of 2019 included:
Reported quarterly net income of $51.6 million, or $0.52 per diluted share. Earnings were impacted by a negative pre-tax mortgage servicing rights ("MSR") valuation adjustment of $4.9 million. Net operating income excluding MSR of $55.9 million, or $0.56 per diluted share, which represents an increase of 3.7 percent on a per share basis, compared with the first quarter of 2018.
