Badger Meter (BMI) Misses Q1 EPS by 1c, Revenues Miss
April 17, 2019 8:33 AM EDTBadger Meter (NYSE: BMI) reported Q1 EPS of $0.37, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.38. Revenue for the quarter came in at $104.88 million versus the consensus estimate of $111.46 million.
Net sales for the first quarter of 2019 were $104.9 million, level with the prior years sales of $105.0 million in the first quarter of 2018.Net earnings and diluted earnings per share (EPS) were $10.8 million and $0.37, respectively, compared to $7.5 million and $0.26 in the comparable prior year period, a 42% year-over-year EPS increase.$17.8 million of cash provided by operations representing strong earnings conversion.Announced...
