KAR Auction Services, Inc. Reports 2018 Financial Results

(NYSE: KAR), today reported its fourth quarter financial results for the period ended December 31, 2018. For the fourth quarter of 2018, the company reported revenue of $929.0 million as compared with revenue of $890.4 million for the fourth quarter of 2017, an increase of 4%. Net income for the fourth quarter of 2018 decreased 61% to $67.3 million, or $0.50 per diluted share, as compared with net income of $172.8 million, or $1.27 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of 2017.
