Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Reports Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2018 Results
February 19, 2019 7:00 AM ESTFINDLAY, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cooper Tire & Rubber Company (NYSE: CTB) today reported full year 2018 net income of $77 million, or diluted earnings per share of $1.51, compared with $95 million, or $1.81 per share, last year. The 2018 results included a $34 million goodwill impairment charge. Excluding the charge, diluted earnings per share would have been $2.18.
Full Year 2018 Highlights
Consolidated unit volume decreased 2.4 percent compared to the prior year. Net sales were $2.81 billion compared to $2.85 billion the prior year. Operating profit was $165 million, or 5.9 percent of net sales.... More
