Prosperity Bancshares, Inc.® Reports Fourth Quarter 2018 Earnings
January 30, 2019 6:30 AM ESTHOUSTON, Jan. 30, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Prosperity Bancshares, Inc.® (NYSE: PB), the parent company of Prosperity Bank® (collectively, "Prosperity"), reported net income for the quarter ended December 31, 2018 of $83.331 million, an increase of $16.193 million or 24.1% compared with $67.138 million for the same period in 2017. Net income per diluted common share increased 22.7% to $1.19 compared with $0.97 for the same period in 2017. Additionally, loans increased 3.5% during 2018 and nonperforming assets remain low at 0.10% of fourth quarter average interest-earning assets.
