First Interstate BancSystem, Inc. Reports Fourth Quarter Earnings and Announces 10.7% Increase in Quarterly Cash Dividend to $0.31 Per Share

BILLINGS, Mont.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- First Interstate BancSystem, Inc. (NASDAQ: FIBK) today reported financial results for the fourth quarter of 2018. For the quarter, the Company reported net income of $40.4 million, or $0.67 per share, which compares to net income of $41.4 million, or $0.71 per share, for the third quarter of 2018, and $34.2 million, or $0.61 per share, for the fourth quarter of 2017.

For the year endingDecember31, 2018, the Company reported net income of$160.2 million, or$2.75per share, compared to$106.5 million, or$2.05per share, in2017, with results in each period including acquisition costs of$12.4 millionand$27.2 million, respectively.
