January 28, 2019 7:00 AM ESTTULSA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. (NASDAQ: ARLP) today reported financial and operating results for the year and quarter ended December 31, 2018 (the "2018 Year" and "2018 Quarter", respectively).
For the 2018 Year, on the strength of record coal sales volumes and higher coal sales prices, total revenues increased 11.5% to $2.0 billion compared to the year ended December 31, 2017 (the "2017 Year"). Net income attributable to ARLP increased 20.7% to $366.6 million for the 2018 Year, compared to $303.6 million for the 2017 Year.
