Briggs & Stratton Corporation Reports Fiscal 2019 Second Quarter Results
January 23, 2019 4:28 PM ESTMILWAUKEE, Jan. 23, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Briggs & Stratton Corporation (NYSE: BGG) today announced financial results for its second fiscal quarter ended December 30, 2018.
Second fiscal quarter net sales were $505 million, an increase of $59 million, or 13.2%, from $446 million in the prior year. Continued favorable momentum in sales of engines and products designed for commercial markets led to growth of 18% on a trailing twelve month basis.
